MAX v3.7.4

Release date: 2023-07-10.

Not listed for download

Compatibility

MAX v3.7.4 is compatible with the MAX v3.x.x family. It is not video-compatible with MAX v4.x.x.

The published release lists these supported models:

  • MC-RX1
  • MC-RX2
  • MC-TX1
  • MC-TX2

Confirm the exact hardware and existing system firmware before selecting a package.

Added

  • Enables integrated IR output.
  • Adds Plug-Play-Present for AMP Standardized Configuration systems.
  • Adds Netgear M4350 switch support to jpsw and improves its socket implementation.

Changed

  • Improves HDMI signal stability with 1080i sources.
  • Adds Netgear M4350 support for AMP Standardized Configuration.

Fixed

No additional bug fixes were listed for this release.

Known Issues

  • EDID (affected version: v3.4.3): The Encoder's Native EDID does not request the full MaxColor capabilities. The historical workaround is to capture an EDID from a Decoder connected to a display that supports the required formats.
  • webUI network display (affected version: v3.7.1): MTU Size always displays 1500, regardless of the connection's actual MTU. This is a display issue.
  • webUI video details (affected version: v3.5.1): The Encoder IP address does not update correctly in Video Details.

Update and Verify

Follow How to Update Firmware on a Device for manual webUI or coordinated AMP updates. Verify the installed version using How to Identify the Firmware Version of a Device.
