L Series firmware for AMP 2G Legacy Mode on 2G Series devices and compatible Omega Series and Ultra Series devices.
Current version: L1.1.9.1
Release date: 2026-11-04.
This firmware is also included with AMP 2.0.2. Follow the update instructions for the system's configuration workflow.
Before updating: AMP 2G Legacy Mode is available only in Standardized Configuration. Alternate Configuration is not supported. Plan an A Series-to-AMP transition for the complete system.
Before You Update
- Confirm supported devices, switch restrictions, and operating limits in Understand 2G Legacy Mode Compatibility. Operation is limited to 2G Series capabilities, including a maximum video resolution of 1080p.
- AMP 2G Legacy Mode does not support Ruckus switches. Review Supported Switches for AMP Standardized Systems before selecting or replacing a switch.
- For version numbering and firmware compatibility, see Understand 2G Legacy Mode Firmware Compatibility.
Transitioning an established system: Moving from A Series firmware to AMP 2G Legacy Mode is a system configuration change. Plan the transition for the complete system rather than updating one device independently.
L1.1.9.1 Release Summary
- JPSW: Corrects matrix switching control failures with certain TP-Link switches running newer switch firmware.
Update Firmware
Use AMP 2.0.0 or later to configure the system. AMP discovers compatible devices and applies L Series firmware through the appropriate configuration workflow.
Follow the L Series firmware update instructions. Complete the AMP workflow before testing the system.
On compatible Omega Series and Ultra Series devices, L Series firmware applies the operating state required for 2G Legacy Mode automatically. There is no separate webUI toggle or mode-change command.
After updating, confirm the reported firmware version and test switching, video, and audio.
