Overview

If the Power and Data LEDs on a 2G+ device blink together, the USB button on the front of the device may have been pressed while the device was powering on. This can prevent it from booting normally.

Troubleshooting

1. Power-cycle the device without pressing the USB button.
2. Check whether the device boots normally. If it does, the USB button was likely the cause.
3. If both LEDs continue blinking, check the power supply.
